Advent Morning of Devotion -Saturday, December 8 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Please join us in St. Mary's Chapel on Saturday morning, December 8 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. for an Advent morning of Devotion, when we will have the pleasure and the privilege to welcome as our guest presenter Dr. Kathleen (Kathy) Henderson Staudt. Dr. Staudt works as a teacher, poet and spiritual director at a number of institutions in the DC area. Her teaching focuses in various ways on writing, poetry, Spirituality and Christian vocation and ministry - especially from the point of view of the laity. She also offers classes and retreats encouraging people to explore their inner lives, engage their creativity and reflect on their beliefs about God, vocation, and how we can discern and pursue new ways to transform our broken world. These annual retreats provide the men and women of our parish with a wonderful opportunity for rest, reflection, and recreation in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley, and a chance to strengthen the bonds of faith and friendship which we share in this community of faith.
