Endowment Fund

The Endowment Fund is intended to enable the Parish to fund ministries beyond those covered by the annual operating budget. The vision for Holy Comforter anticipates continued growth of the Parish and the need for expanded facilities and services. It is important that each of us consider how we can start TODAY to provide for Holy Comforter TOMORROW. Designating the Endowment Fund as a beneficiary of your estate or donating to the Fund during your lifetime helps to insure that capital will be available in the years ahead.

The Endowment fund was established in June 2001 to enable the Parish to provide a means to fund ministries beyond those covered by the annual operating budget. Distributions from the Fund are to be used for capital needs, outreach ministries and grants, seed money for new ministries and special one-time projects as well as for purposes designated by donors to the Fund.

The principal may not be invaded; only earnings can be withdrawn from the Fund on the request of the Vestry and with the approval of the Endowment Fund Board.
