Dr. Amy Heard-DavisonCome to this special meeting of ECW (Episcopal Church Women) for a presentation by Dr. Amy Heard-Davison, Licensed Clinical Psychologist and a Holy Comforter parishioner. Dr. Davison teaches skills that connect the mind and body and build self-compassion as a way to manage stress and provide a path to healing. In the face of life’s challenges, she believes that everyone can create a meaningful, satisfying life. Her guiding principle is to provide hope and help with compassion, whether in her therapy office or with groups in the community.

Dr. Davison received her PhD in Clinical Psychology from Auburn University and her training in health psychology in large medical settings around the country, including Alabama, Chicago, and Seattle. She has lived and worked in northern Virginia since 2006.
