This 8-week special lesson series for 1st graders and older is designed to introduce children to the important rituals and meaning of the Eucharist and other parts of our liturgy. The children will attend 7 consecutive lessons during Sunday School led by different members of the clergy, staff and lay ministers. The program will conclude with a special recognition ceremony and reception. Lessons will include interactive tutorials on the Eucharistic vessels, the Church calendar, the clerical vestments, a tour of the Sanctuary, an organ demonstration, a manna making session and an instructed Eucharist lead by the Reverend Valerie Hayes. In addition, the entire Sunday School will participate in a Seder Meal in McGill Hall.

All 1st graders are automatically enrolled in the study and are highly encouraged to attend. Also, older children who have not yet participated in this program are welcome and encouraged to attend. If you have a child that is not in 1st Grade who would like to participate, please contact Lauren Breeden to reserve their space.
