The mission of the Pastoral Care Ministry at the Church of the Holy Comforter is to provide quality, timely and professional pastoral care services in an intimate and confidential environment, modeled on the life and ministry of Christ. The clergy at Holy Comforter provide pastoral care to all parishioners, especially in times of grief, illness and crisis. We believe that pastoral care is a shared ministry between clergy and laity. It is an integral function of the parish to offer spiritual and emotional support in time of need, be it a single crisis or an ongoing need for pastoral services. Pastoral care at the Church of the Holy Comforter creates a shared experience of healing, renewal and growth. |
