Event:

Winter Marriage Workshop

Sunday, April 7
3–5 p.m. in St. Mary's Chapel

Join parishioner Amy Davison and the Marriage Ministry team for our final Sunday afternoon session on April 7. The workshop theme is "The Art of Relating with Your Whole Being: Mind Body Heart Soul."

Please join us on this day for a panel discussion titled Sharing is Caring: Everything You Ever Wanted to Know About Relationships But Were Afraid to Ask

Couples and individuals can submit questions about relationships, communication, conflict, and spirituality. Our panel of experts and couples will discuss these topics based on their unique experiences and training.

The Marriage workshops are a great chance to go deeper in your relationship during the upcoming Lenten season. You are welcome to attend as a couple or as an individual, and all ages and stages are encouraged to attend. No participant will be asked to share anything with the group, only with their individual spouse to ensure privacy and comfort for all.

Childcare will be available. Please RSVP online HERE.

Some Great Resources:

  • Rector recommended! Check out Dr. John Gottman's Seven Principles for Making Marriage Work (Available for $9 on Amazon or check it out from our church Library). This book is easy to read, insightful, and actionable. It contains exercises that will strengthen your marriage.
  • We also recommend subscribing to the Marriage Minute, a free email twice a week with practical, useful marriage tips that apply to all.  It really does take just a minute to read.
  • To take a sneak peek at a great marriage topic, check out this fabulous 2-minute YouTube video on Emotional Bank Accounts.
