Rite 13: Sunday mornings, 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. in the Library
Rite 13 is a two-year program open to all 8th and 9th graders. It is designed to help build relationships and nurture an active faith in the living God in the context of Christian community. Goals of this program are:
- To celebrate manhood and womanhood as gifts from God, and to embrace with joy the new privileges and responsibilities that are given to us.
- To encourage program participants to lay claim to their creative energy which helps them to act in new ways and with new ideas to shape the world around us according to God’s purposes.
- To model, by word and example and through action and experience, the principles of freedom and responsibility in our relationships with God and one another.
