Vestry

The business, properties and temporal affairs of the church are managed by the Vestry. The Vestry is a leadership community consisting of the Rector and twelve elected members of the congregation. In addition to the calling of a Rector, the Vestry appoints the Treasurer, Assistant Treasurer and Register to serve on the Vestry each of whom serves as non-voting members. Each voting member of the Vestry is elected by the congregation to serve for a three year term. Terms of service are staggered so that each year four terms expire and four new members are elected to serve. Vestry elections are held in the fall with prior notice to the congregation of the dates for these elections; new member terms begin in January. The Vestry meets each second Thursday of the month, excluding July. Vestry meetings are open to all members of the congregation; meetings are held in McGill Hall and the business meeting starts at 7:30 p.m.
