Healing Prayer Ministry Mission Statement

With firm faith in the transforming love of God in Jesus Christ and the awesome power of the Holy Spirit, we offer prayers for healing in body, mind, and spirit to all who seek wholeness and grace for themselves or others. We believe Jesus works through our presence, our prayers and our faith to manifest God’s divine love to all who thirst for healing, hope, comfort and reconciliation.

Healing Prayers

Healing in the SunlightOn the 1st Sunday of the month, Holy Comforter offers Healing Prayers immediately following our 9:30 a.m. Worship Service—starting at 10:30 a.m. via a unique Zoom link.

Anyone wishing for healing prayers—whether for yourself or for another or for our hurting world—is invited to join the Zoom meeting and you will be in a Zoom waiting room until your time to be prayed for. Each person will be admitted individually in the order she/he entered. You need only say as much as you wish, and anything said will be held in confidence.

The Healing Ministry is led by Ms. Alexandra MacCracken and includes a team of lay healers who have gone through intentional training and formation. For more information contact Alexandra MacCracken.

PLEASE NOTE: On Sunday, March 7 Healing Prayers will be offered from 9:00 to 9:30 a.m., in order to allow all to attend the Zoom Annual Parish Business Meeting. To recieve Healing Prayers on March 7, watch this space for Zoom information coming soon.

Men Praying for Men

Man PrayingOn the 3rd Sunday of the month, Holy Comforter offers Men Praying for Men immediately following the 9:30 a.m. Zoom Worship Service—starting at 10:30 a.m. via a unique Zoom link.

The Healing Prayer Ministry has a special invitation for men. Men carry so much on their hearts and often alone—yet men tend to be reluctant to request prayer for themselves or others. Here’s an opportunity to get help carrying that load. Ray Wadlow and Dan Harris will be available to pray with men this Sunday following the Livestream Worship Service. Your privacy will absolutely be respected. We invite men to pray for their own needs and the needs of those they love in this difficult time.

To join Men Praying for Men on Sunday, February 21.
