Tracy Radosevic  is a dynamic, energetic, internationally acclaimed storyteller, educator, and retreat facilitator. Ever since her introduction to the Network of Biblical Storytellers (NOBS) in 1991 she has traveled all over the United States, as well as to several foreign countries, bringing her special brand of humor, insight, and faith to audiences of all ages through the power of the embodied and performed narrative. Listed on the Maryland State Arts Council roster for Artists-in-Education, Tracy has performed for schools, libraries, and various civic groups over the years. Tracy's favorite stories, however, are biblical. In fact, for the past 11 years the majority of her living has been made through the sharing of these ancient narratives in ways that allow people to hear them again as if for the first time. In addition to her freelance work, Tracy is an adjunct professor at Wesley Theological Seminary in DC as well as the Ecumenical Institute of Theology in Baltimore. She is also Dean of the Academy for Biblical Storytelling and editor of NOBS’ bi-monthly newsletter: The Biblical Storyteller. She recently was among those representing the US contingent of NOBS in The Gambia.

This program is designed for ANYONE who wants to learn how to tell stories that engage, encourage and delight their listeners. It is for clergy, Sunday School teachers, Chapel leaders, Vacation Bible School volunteers, Confirmation mentors, lay readers, dramatists, and anyone who has ever told a story. Tracy will conduct three workshops that work together – “MULLing the Biblical Text” (story internalization and spiritual formation), “New, New Ways to Tell the Old, Old Story” and “Multi-Dimensional Storytelling for Multiple Intelligences.” Priority will be given to those attending all day, but if we have room we can allow people to attend one or two of the workshops. Sign up at the Children’s’ Ministries table. For more information, contact Katherine Hutt, Director of Children’s Ministries at 703-938-6521 ext. 16.
