Men's Fellowship Group
Holy Comforter’s Ministry for Men has virtually exploded in recent years, with record attendance at its annual Men’s Retreats, monthly programs, Saturday morning gathering for prayer, breakfast and fellowship.
The Saturday Morning Bunch, meeting for more than 30 years, gathers in the church chapel at 7:30 on Saturday mornings. Open to all men of the church, this fellowship has no officers and no agenda, aside from quiet prayer. At 8 am the group moves to the WolfTrap Deli for a light breakfast and fellowship.
The Men’s Annual Retreat has been led by a broad range of nationally acclaimed inspirational speakers.
Monthly Men’s Programs offer variety in content, alternating between a Saturday morning program beginning with a light breakfast at 8 am to a Monday evening program at 7:30 pm with an optional bring-your-own dinner beginning at 6:45. These programs alternate between speakers and panel discussions of topics related to men.
Special outings range from cruising the Potomac, fishing on the Chesapeake, golf and ballgames.
