Coffee and Hospitality
Between 10:15 and 11:00 am each Sunday, Coffee and Hospitality is held in McGill Hall for parishioners and visitors. This is a wonderful time for meeting and greeting old and new friends. All are invited to take one turn a year setting up and hosting this vital fellowship activity.
Bridge
The first Saturday of each month, from October through May, couples gather for party bridge. Newcomers are welcome at any level of play.
Foyers
Each of these "getting to know you" groups is made up of eight parishioners, who meet monthly for fellowship and simple meals. Each group is a mix of newcomers and old-timers, couples as well as singles. There are two "rounds" - one in the Fall and one in the Spring.
St. Clotilda’s Guild
Saint Clotilda’s guild, sponsored by the ECW, is a women’s organization which engages in Bible study and outreach. It is the only remaining guild at Holy Comforter. At one time, there were four guilds here. Our outreach projects include Christmas gifts to young women at the Jackson- Field School in Jarrat, Virginia. The school, which helps abused girls, is affiliated with the Episcopal Church.
